Anet gave few importance to the guilds, so i was thinking of posting a couple of ideas that i came up with.

1. Guild Armor and weapons: A new service will be available in d hall, an armorer, where the guild leader can design a guild's armor (somehow like the creation of the cape) and it will have the guild's emblem on it. The members then will buy the armor if they want to. Also the weaponsmith will have the guild's weapon designed also by the leader and based on the weapons system from nf (with inscriptions)

2. Guild Titles- A new title system for d guild will be also helpful. Example: a member will help with new players of gw that joined the guild, the leader or officers will give him the title 'Guild Helper' or somthing like that if u know what i mean.

Alse feel free to post your ideas

I really like this idea. I was actually thinking about this while playing through Nightfall. Seeing the Sunspears and the mission where you disguise yourself as Kournan soldiers really made me think it would be cool to represent your guild all in the same armor. With the ability to create any kind of mods due to inscriptions now this could really be possible.

yeah, identifying each other by cape alone seems silly in a battle
All in matching armor would seem cool although I highly doubt it will ever be implemented by Anet

It wouldnt be that hard for anet to di it in capitol cities, like they do with emblemers. In the hall for each guild might be too much, but if they do it, i vote it is another 100k npc.

I also like the idea of the titles for the guild members, more clarification on officers, farming master etc, shows who is responsible for what etc, and if guild leader had option to make categories (only on Guild roster list) then all the better...

I like both ideas.
The sub-ranking system would be very helpful indeed, even if it were only visible in the guild roster.
The guild armors would be pretty sweet aswel. I can already imagine a GvG where each guild has their own armor set.
I'm with you on this, Magie!

and may i add?

Guild mission/quest: A set of mission or quest(progessive difficulty) that allow guilds to do them together to unlock more features/rewards (like the command centre quests sets in Nightfall's Sunspear Santuary), it should help create more buzz and goals for fellow guildies and alliance members to achieve. Some element of this may be repeatable to increase replayablity as well.

/signed for guild armor
What I'd really like to see is a new skin set, so that even if you're a caster, you have armor similar enough to the Warriors that you can tell you're in the same guild.

I like the guild mission idea, but it would be a bit tough for arenanet to create a bunch of missions for the guild to choose, maybe the mission based on their hall will do

Yes that is indeed a challenge. Perhaps something like the visionaries in the late 80s and have the guild emblem shown in the central variable region (But please something more fashionable and less geeky its only an example). For PvP purposes, the armour would auto change to default opposite colours than the opposition for example and else where it will remain dyeable either by the individual or the guild leader.

As for Weapons and shield, similar concepts can be applied. Shields would be easier since all the current emblem can be converted into shield skins (alot of work and not practical...besides we got beer and beaver emblems...) or alternatively, have the emblem "paint" over a standard Targe sheild design on the shield face. similar concepts can be applied to weapons, Caster items etc.
